We all work throughout our journey of authentic growth in specific ways that are unique to each of us. Sometimes, we may experience frustration or feel stuck in our self-development work, and may need to pause, re-tool, or start anew.
Last month, I shared some reflections on a re-imagining framework for authentic growth. The camera tripod is both a tool for my work in photography as well as a metaphor for authenticity. The base or ground that holds the tripod represents your core values. The legs of the tripod represent categories of personal growth (e.g., relationships, religion, spirituality, finances, health, wellness, etc.) And the camera that sits on the tripod is your perspective on life (mindset, attitude, intention, purpose).
The Journey of Authentic Growth
Authentic growth is about connecting and not compartmentalizing our lives. It is about integration and not segmentation. The framework helps you work on your core values, areas of personal growth, and your mindset holistically while propelling you towards a genuine self.
Ten Motivating Factors
Here are ten motivating factors (links to nine articles and one video) to inspire you amid your journey of authentic growth.
