Amid a few soulful conversations this week, I was reminded of truth as a spiritual virtue. Truth, meaning authenticity, is deeply connected to spirituality in how we relate with our higher power, the “partner of our most intimate soliloquies.”
Truth as a Spiritual Virtue
A spiritual virtue of truth is about living from the core of our being with unconditional love toward others. Our actual character and integrity propel us towards living as our best self, which in turn generates a ripple effect of soulful energy and goodness throughout our circles of family, friends, and community.
Truth is that which does not contaminate you, but empowers you.

A Few Questions for the Soul
What empowers you today? In what ways are you living as your genuine self? How are you living your truth?
Here are a few more questions to ponder:
What truth do you seek?
Do you learn?
Do you absorb?
What truth transforms you?
Challenges you?
Shapes you?
Changes you?
Nudges you?
What truth pushes you off the cliff of the shallow
and into your deepest self?
What truth leans toward you, whispers to your soul,
reminding you of who you are?

Your Turn
To seek is the start of any quest….the reward of the spiritual quest is the deeper understanding of the Self and a discovery of a new and different way of being.
