Personal Growth – a few more thoughts on comfort zones and edges…
How often do you take time for self reflection? Do you have an inventory of your strengths? Are there areas in your life you want to improve? Do you have a plan for your personal growth? What do you want to do two, five, and ten years from now? How do you want to be?
The middle of your comfort zone is a place of rest. The comfort zone is meant to be a transitory moment, not a permanent residence. It is OK to be there when you need the time. Your comfort zone can provide you the space to pause and reflect on how you want to get better in your life.
When you are ready, go to the edge of that threshold that will invite you to change. There on the edge, you will be challenged to learn, develop, fail, re-work, fail forward, and keep going. The edge fuels you with a keep-going energy. Live on the edge. You are on your way toward a better you.
