How do you listen? How do you learn persistence? What elements of nature draw you to a mindset of awareness?
I love the rain in Seattle, a misty drizzle that is often supple and relentless. Rain in its gentleness can be a reminder to stay the course, whatever your course of matter may be.
Persistence is the state of being there. Let the rain awaken a tenacious perseverance within you. May the rain remind you of not giving up and to keep going.
Listen. Lean toward stillness. Let your gaze speak of an attention that says, “I’m here. I am with you. I want to hear more.”
Every once in a while, listen to the rain. Let it teach you persistence.
What wisdom have you discovered in nature?
