What are the tangible affirmations that remind you that you are loved?
Let’s face it. Even in the digital age, we are still sensual human beings. We need all our senses to experience the fullness of life: sight, sound, touch, taste, smell. Think of it as a spirituality of sensuality.
Tangible Affirmations
I carry a small card with me that says, “I love you.” It is from my 92-year-old Mother. Several years ago, she put this card in a bag of snacks she gave me during a stopover visit while traveling for work. Something small, and yet it is a profound, palpable reminder of my Mother’s love. By seeing and touching that card in my wallet, I connect with her unconditional love for me.
It is the little things, indicators of the ordinary moments that remind us of meaningful love and affirmation. These tiny details of love run deeper than shifting moods or feelings.
